Cooking Class with Market Visit
After many delicious Balienese meals, we’ll be anxious to bring the tastes of Indonesia home with us. Early in the morning, we’ll accompany Ibu Soelastri, an accomplished Indonesian chef, to the local market, where we’ll learn about the region’s seafood, vegetables, and traditional spices. Back at the resort, we’ll put the ingredients to work as we learn to put together traditional dishes. We’re sure to put these recipes and techniques to use when we return home!
